APURIMAC 8TH GRADUATION CEREMONY HELD IN JOS, ON THE 9TH JULY 2013

Four hundred and six (406) Christian/Muslim women and youths were trained in various skills at our vocational Centre for a period of 5months and 6 month respectively in various skills of the choice.

The available skills at our vocational centres includes: CATERING/DECORATION, HAIR-DRESSING, SHOE-MAKING, KNITTING, COMPUTER, and TAILORING. They were also taught basic skills in peace-building through our monthly activities for women and youth tag COMMON GROUND thereby giving them the basic skills in addressing conflict within their communities and also serving as peace mediators in their communities in-case of any situation that is capable of generating conflict.

At APURIMAC we use entrepreneurship skill development as a tool in mitigating conflict, promoting peace, right relationship and community cohesion.
