APE-AID (Apurimac Emergency Aid)

After the crisis of November 2008, Apurimac decided that one of the most important fields of action in the city of Jos might be the peacebuilding and its evolution, the statebuilding. We began to organize our class with participant coming from both the sides in conflicts (Hausa/Muslim and Indigenous/Christians), interpreting the social role of women and youths not only as a tool of economic development but also as instrument of dialogue and peace. On this path Apurimac has developed its whole action in the middle belt, focusing on dialogue, awareness, and networking of Civil Society Organizations.

To build a society anchored on love and peace.

To protect the dignity of life and human solidarity, in defense of inviolable rights of individuals.

To initiate concrete works of development that ensures the right to health, education and jobs to people who are vulnerable.
